About Tarkov Questhelper

The quest helper is a free fan project for Escape from Tarkov. It shows which quests you currently have, where their objectives are and what to bring to a map.

Quest data

Quests, objectives, items and traders come from tarkov.dev, an open community project. Our server fetches them daily, so new and changed quests appear without manual work. If a quest is missing or an objective is wrong, it is usually in that data, but please tell us anyway.

The steps of the story chapters (Tour, Falling Skies, Batya and more), how each chapter starts and which Tour step unlocks which trader and map come from the Escape from Tarkov Wiki (Fandom, licensed CC BY-SA 3.0). We take the step texts unchanged; our server fetches them once a week.

Kappa and Lightkeeper

Kappa counts the quest “Collector” and every quest it requires. Lightkeeper counts every quest required by the Lightkeeper's own quests. Both are recalculated with every data update.

What this site cannot know

Since 1.0, Tarkov unlocks many quests through trader level or hidden trader progress. These quests are listed under “Later” with a note; once you have them in game, add them yourself.

Maps

Map images are by Shebuka (tarkov-dev-svg-maps), licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. We show them unchanged and without ads. The conversion of game coordinates comes from the tarkov.dev code (MIT licence); maps are drawn with Leaflet (BSD licence).

Escape from Tarkov and the names of quests, items, traders and maps are the property of Battlestate Games Limited. This website is not affiliated with Battlestate Games.
